Step 1
Start by measuring up the length and depth of the proposed fence
Step 2
Then determine how high – usually 6 or 8 ft high
Step 3
Install support pipes to a 1/3 depth vs height of fence . Space on appx 6ft centers buried in concrete
Step 3A
Line the bottom of fence with non-woven geo-textile fabric as a weed barrier and to prevent soil erosion
Step 4
Place pre-assembled gabion baskets on a straight line and join together using spirals or hog rings
Step 5
Fill first course of gabion baskets with rocks
Step 6
Place second course of gabion baskets and fill with rocks
